Mahatma Gandhi is popularly known as Bapu and Rastrapita.
Mohandas Karamchad Gandhi was born on 2nd October in 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat and he dies on 30th January in 1948.
He was a freedom fighter who led Indian National Movement as a great leader and he never went for violent movement against the British rule.
He believed that nonviolence is the only strategy that can gain the freedom the British Government.
