Bapu, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat, India. Mahatma Gandhi was a great Indian who led the movements of freedom against British rule. After completing his schooling in India, he went to England to study law. He returned to India as an advocate and started practicing law. They started helping the people of India who were despised and humiliated by British rule.
They started the non-violence independence movement to fight against the injustice of the British. He was insulted many times, but he continued non-violent struggle for India's independence. After returning to India, he joined the Indian National Congress as a member. He was a great leader of India's independence movement, who struggled for India's independence.
