Answer:

Explanation:

Mahendra calls ghosts or spirits a figment of the imagination as he did not believe in ghosts. One day Iswaran told him about a female ghost holding a foetus in her arms. On a full-moon night he woke up from his sleep and looked outside the window. He got shocked to see the same figure and began to sweat profusely.

Mahendra was a practical man though! He did not believe in ghosts or spirits as he thought them to be a figment of imagination. He often told Iswaran to not believe in ghosts ( suggested when iswaran says that we should shift frok this place as it is not safe and bounded by ghosts , mahendra responds by saying that ghosts dont exist!)
On a full moon night Mahendra woke up from his sleep at night as he hurd a voice , afterwards he concluded that it must be a cat but then he realised that sound was deep and harsh and could not be of the cat. That night he could not sleep properly and was reminded of the things that Isawaran told him . Then the next day he decided to leave from that place as soon as possible!

Hope it helps!
