Mahesh can do a work in 24 days and shekhar can do it in 30 days. In how many days will they complete it, if they work together

Mahesh can do work in =24 days

one day work of mahesh =1/24

Shekhar can do work in =30 days

One day work of shekhar=1/30

Let in 'x' days they will complete work

According to equation and Question:-

 =  > x \times ( \frac{1}{24}  +  \frac{1}{30} ) = 1 \times 120

 =  > 5x + 4x = 120

 =  > 9x = 120

 =  > x =  \frac{120}{9}  =  \frac{40}{3}  = 13\frac{1}{3}

They take 13 days +1/3 of a day which means 1/3×24=8 hours

Hence ,they take 13 days and 8 hours to complete the work if they work together.
