The main agreements arrived at by the majority and the minority people of South Africa before the adoption of its Constitution are:

  1. The elected ruler must not favour to only one of the White's as well as the Black people.
  2. The white minorities were keen to protect its privileges and properties.
  3. The black people demanded substantial social and economic rights.
  4. The black people wanted to build a new South Africa based on equality of all races, men and women on democratic values, social justice and human rights.

5. The constitution shall never permit a repetition of

their racist, brutal and repressive past.

Hope it was helpful.
