22 Feb,1917 : Lockout of a factory on the right bank of the Neva river. The next day, the workers of of 50 factories went on strike in sympathy.
24&25 Feb: Demonstrators came came back on the streets and were dispersed by imposing curfew.
25 Feb: The government suspended the Duma.
26 Feb: Demonstrators returned in force to the streets.
27 Feb: Workers ransacked the police headquarters.
2 March: The Tsar give up his throne. Soviet leaders and tumor leaders formed the provincial government to run the country. No political party was actively organising the February revolution.
