The Nigeria constitution is the highest law in Nigeria, any law that is not consistent with the constitution is null and void. Also when there is a conflict between the constitution and any other law, the constitution will prevail.
The features of the 1999 Nigerian constitution are as follows :
1. Preamble : This introduces us to the main content of the constitution. It also end with “the constitution shall be the main authority for people and government”. That's the highest law.
