Functions of stem cell::

Stem cells are self-renewable and undifferentiated cells found in the human body and have the ability to develop into many different types of specialized cells such as brain cell, blood cell etc.

VIKRANTRAINA: stem cell is present in humans
Dharmendra2120: Stem cells are biological cells found in all multicellular organisms, that can divide (through mitosis) and differentiate into diverse specialized cell types and can self-renew to produce more stem cells.

these daughter cells either become new stem cells(self renewal) or becone specialized cells(differentiation) with more specific function, such as blood cells,brain cell, heart muscle or bone. no other cell in the body has the natural ability to generate new cell types.

VIKRANTRAINA: thx
Dharmendra2120: nice answer @tasleem
