desalination can be done by various methods like reverse osmosis ,heating and freezing . it requires a lots of heat or energy to convert sea water into normal one . sea water consist of chlorine in the range of 2500 to 2600 mg per litre. it is very dengarous

the main obstacles that desalinate the sea water are salt and sand . the word desalinate means water that is saline. so salt can make the water saline and in sand there are some particles of humus also which make the water saline
