2) The name has latin origin or latinised.
3) The name is printed in italics and if handwritten each component is separately underlined.
4) No names prior to Species Plantarum written by Linnaeus in 1753 are acceptable.
5) If a species has two names and both are valid according to rules. The old one is given priority. (Rule of priority according to ICBN)
