In first case, when loss occurred

Loss= x-90

In second case, when profit occurred

Profit= 105-x

Now, according to the question

105-x=1/4(x-90)

Solving, we get

420-4x=x-90

5x=420+90

x=102

Therefore, the cost of the Walkman is 102 rs.
