The major source is indirect tax collected by government because this is only the assessee have to pay tax to the government and no person can do the fraud on high level. As GST is the part of indirect tax it comprises excise duty, service tax, custom duty, VAT, sales tax and various duties comes under indirect tax.

Income tax is a direct tax and mostly assessee evade their income not to pay tax to government. Fraud is also one of the criteria not to pay tax.
