The Major vegetation belts of India are as follows
1) Desert vegetation
2) Mountain forests
3) Tidal forests
4) The tropical evergreen or rain forests
5) Deciduous or monsoon forests.
• Natural vegetation mostly grows well in heavy rainfall regions. India is best with a wide range of flora and fauna.
• Forests are found mainly in the tropical areas where the annual rainfall is more than 200cm.
• Tropical deciduous forests are commercially very important. The most important trees in these forests are Teak, Sal, Sandalwood, Mulberry and etc.
