Solution,

Let us assume that we have 25 notes with denomination ₹ 3.

The sum of 25 notes with ₹1denomination is = 3 × 25 = ₹75.

Now, let us assume that we have 25 notes with denomination ₹ 1.

The sum of 25 notes with ₹1 denomination is = 1 × 25 = ₹25.

Therefore, Total sum of money we got =  ₹75 +  ₹25 = ₹100.

Total notes used = 25 notes with ₹3 denominations and 25 notes with ₹1 denomination.

Hence, Total notes used are = 25 + 25 = 50.
