Muni was wife of halku. She was lady who did not fear to speak out her words. When her husband Halku asks her to get the three rupees that she has saved to buy a blanket for january nights. When the moneylender came to collect his dues then munni asks halku to tell him we will pay after the harvest. She was also portrayed as a person who does not beleive in her husband's fake promises of buying a blanket later . She makes it clear that she is not happy with her husband's job of tenant farming. This because all that he earns ended up in being given up as arrears due. She openly tells him to seek the job of high laborer as they will atleast have some savings.....
