Samudargupta was a great ruler of India from a Gupta dynasty .we know about him from the Sanskrit poem composed by his court poet Harisena .the poem inscribed at an Asoka pillar at Allahabad .he was  as a great warrior and he fought many battles .Harshwardhana was also known as Harsha who ruled around north India from Narmada river in Central India to north India.
