The festivals celebrated in my area are;

Holi

Holi often regarded as the "Festival of Colors", is one of the best-known celebrations in India. The festival is concentrated around the burning and demolition of the demoness Holika, which was made achievable through resolute dedication to Lord Vishnu. This festival is celebrated with great p[omp and show and also with beautiful colors.

Ganesh Chaturthi

The magnificent 11-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival honors the birth of the popular Hindu elephant-headed deity, Lord Ganesha. The commencement of the celebration sees tremendous, elaborately-crafted statutes of Ganesh established in homes and public podiums, which have been elegantly decorated. The figures are celebrated every day throughout the festival. On the last day, they're demonstrated through the passages, followed by much singing and dancing, and then immersed in the ocean

Navratri

The nine days of the Navaratri celebration honor the mother god Durga in all her incarnations. The tenth day, proclaimed as Dussehra, commemorates the destruction of the demon king Ravan by Lord Ram and primate god Hanuman. It also corresponds with Durga's success over the evil buffalo devil Mahishasura
