ANSWER:

Diary entries are a segment of writing which is organised by date. The entries within diary are in what way one organise his/her thoughts, opinions, and feelings and how he/she pours these into the diary. Diary entries are more like chapters of a book.

The feelings of the girl in the poem “It’s a change” is a mixture of fear, frustration and concern over school children being stressed with their studies because of new inventions, discoveries and facts by biologists, archeologists, scientists and geologists. Each day with these experts finding something new, the burden is on children to learn about the same, as children need to be informed and updated.

The girl probably feels that it is not necessary for learning all that has been discovered and this only adds to children learning too many things leaving them confused and frustrated. The girl feels her teachers too are part of this stress, since teachers generally are under pressure to teach all these new things to students and they expect students to be thorough with what is taught.

What starts with the scientists cloning sheep and pigs, goes with biologists discovering stem cells for such cloning purpose and archeologists adding to that by adding newer types of clones. That is why she feels scientists are her biggest concern as the foundation of all these problems starts with them.
