1. A type of force that acts only when there is physical contact between two bodies is known as Contact force.
2. As we know that, according to Newton's second law, $F = ma$
3. Where, F is the force , m is the mass of the body and a is the acceleration of the body.
4. If a force 'F' is applied to a object of mass 'm' then the object starts moving with an acceleration 'a'.
5. A type of force that acts only when there is no physical contact between two objects is known as Non-contact force.

• Frictional force
• Air resistance
• Spring force
