Answer: In earlier times,people used to get entertained themselves,even when there were no such technological developments such as tv, computers,radio,mobile phones,internet,etc.
Today we consider internet ,social media or televisions as the synonyms of entertainment, but it was not son in earlier times.
There were several ways people used to entertain themselves like live singing or dancing in groups or individually especially on some special occasions like marriage,birthdays,local fairs,festivals etc,they had their own folk songs ,dance forms and stories -mythological,fictional and non-fictional .They played several games and sports. They even had group chat or discussions over any subject sometimes over some serious issues or even comedy. They conducted plays or stage shows like puppet,etc.
