INTRODUCTION
The rural visit, which was organized by our HOD Dr. Sapna Modi, Ms. Shatabdi Das (Lecturer – Retail Marketing Department) and Mr. Shabbir Hariayanwala (Lecturer – Retail Marketing Department) provided an opportunity to the students to gain practical skills and be exposed to the rural areas.
The students of ITM, Navi Mumbai (RMM 2017-2019) were required to go for a Study on the Impacts of various factors in unorganized Retail sector in the village Karla. The objective of the study was to conduct an Impact AssessmentofaformerCSAprojectwhichisnowhandledbyCMRC.Theruralcampwasheldon13th December. The students were divided into several groups. The class was divided into various different groups to look after different aspects of the rural area. At the village, the students have to visit the different places in village such as school, hospital, Gram Panchayat Office etc.
