Some steps can solve these problems of adolescence students.

1. Teenagers can do yoga and meditation in order to increase their concentration powers.

2. Teenagers must avoid disturbance such as television, picnic outings and wasting time with friends.

3. Teenagers must contact their elders and senior students to get proper guidance from them.

4. They must take good food, do regular exercise and get sound sleep in the night.

Problems faced by adolescents:

  1. Lack of self esteem: Most of the adolescents lack self-confidence and have low self-esteem. This awakens their inferiority complex and makes them to not invlove in any activities. This also reduces their ability to focus and concentrate.
  2. Overthinking: Almost it is a problem of people of all ages and in case of adolescents, it is even more high. It adds depression and anxiety in them.
  3. Peer pressure: Teenagers also face the problem of peer pressure from their peer groups to get invloved in illegal or harmful habits such as smoking, drinking, drug addiction and so on...
  4. Pressure of comparison: Most of the elderly people do not understand the interests and passion in child and compares them with others especially in their academics. In worst case, they also get brutally beaten up to show a good performance in their academics.
  5. Lack of physical activities: Due to the technological advancements, most of the teenagers are sedentary and lack physical activity. This add up weight and destructs their health. Most of the teenagers almost everywhere are either underweight or overweight.
  6. Munching on unhealthy food: Feeding on unhealthy, fast and junk food gives no nutrition and are of high-calories. This inhibits their growth and development as this stage of life is highly crucial for growth and development.

Measures to address the problems:

  1. Teenage life is the most enjoyable time period of every human as it is a stage of life between a kid and an adult. So, teenagers should stay optimistic and work towards their dreams. People around them should motivate and encourage them to come up in their life.
  2. Adolescents should work upon their goals in a more focused manner and work upon their strengths and skills and ignore negativity.
  3. From the side of parents and society, people should understand that teenage is a transition stage and it is normal for them to be worried about how they look or how they be different from others.
  4. Parents and acquaintances should make them feel comfortable and normalize that every person is unique. Each and every person has unique capabilities in them
  5. People, especially the parents should avoid comparing teenagers and should always try to bring out the best in child by boosting their confidence and skills through strong motivation.
  6. In order to avoid peer pressure, adolescents should learn to say no for the things that would affect them mentally and should get engaged in activities like eating healthy food with a balanced diet, engage in physical activities like playing, cycling etc.. and should stay away from smartphones and electronic gadgets as it would become an addiction if overused.
