Making of a solar cooker,
(1) Make a wooden/iron frame in the shape of TV dish
(2) Cut acrylic mirror sheets into 8 or 12 pieces in the shape of isosceles triangles with a height equal to the radius of your dish antenna.
(3) Stick the triangle mirrors to the dish. Arrange it so that concave part faces Sun.
(4) Find its focal point and place a vessel at that point. It will get heated.
(5) In this way,wenwill prepare a solar cooker.
(6) The solar cooker is a device which is used to cook food by utilising the heat energy radiated by the sun.
(7) A solar cooker consists of a thick glass sheet over the box and a plane mirror reflector is also attached to the box.
(8) The food to be cooked is put in the metal containers which are painted black from outside.
(9) The metal containers are then placed inside the solar cooker box and converted with the glass sheet.
