TEST FOR CO2:-
Place a piece of blue litmus paper on the test tube containing CO2 gas, the litmus paper will turn blue to red.
OR, If u pass a CO2 gas through lime water, water turns turns cloudy. This is because the lime water contain calcium hydroxide, when CO2 is pass through it solid ppt of calcium carbonate forms.
