Honesty is the best policy
Ramu was a porter. He was a very honest boy. One day, an old man hired him to carry the luggage to his house. On reaching his home the old man asked for how much money he will take for carrying luggage. He said he will charge Rupees100 only. The opd man was a very good person. He gave 200 rupees to Ramu and said that he may take it as a tip. He refused to take it but still the old man was saying him to take, he took it.
After some days when Ramu was walking on the station, the old man came to him and asked to be in his home and and care for him. He also said he will pay him good salary. Ramu was very happy. He assured that he will take care of the old man. He then started staying with the old man. He used to give him food and his personal room for resting. Ramu also was very loyal and cared for old man very nicely.
One day the old man asked him that when he has neither a family nor relatives. So when he will die, who will take care of his house. Ramu said that don't say like this. I am like your son. And you are like my father. I will take care of you till the end. The old man assured he will take care of his home and money. After some months the old man died. Ramu married and took care of the old man's home and wealth. He was very honest.
Moral: Honesty is the best policy. Be honest.
