The normal human heart is traditionally said to have four chambers.

1)The Right Atrium, to your upper left in diagram below, actually upper right in the body, , receives all the impure blood from the body

2) The Right Ventricle pumps it into the lungs to get purified

3)The Left Atrium receives oxygenated blood from the lungs

4)The Left Ventricle pumps it to your brain, liver, muscles, and all parts of the body (except the lungs!)
