1598: The first definite mention of cricket in England
1611: The first record of cricket as an adult game
1721: First record of Cricket match (In India)
1744: The first written "Laws of Cricket".
1750: World's first cricket club was formed, Hamblendon Cricket Club
1772: Score boards included
1775: W. Read published first printed version of the rule of cricket.
1787: Marylebone Cricket Club formed
1788: "Laws of cricket" formed by MCC
1792: The first Indian club- Calcutta Cricket Club formed
1844: First cricket match played between two nations. (The USA and Canada)
1848: Oriental Cricket club formed in Bombay
1875: Bombay Gymkhana established
1877: On foreign soil, England played Test cricket against Australia.
1882: Ashes Test Cricket series started between England and south Africa
1900: Cricket announced in Olympics
1909: Imperial Cricket Conference was formed
1912: The Quadrangular Tournament started in India
1929 (or 1927, check this please)- BCCI formed
1932: First test match between India and England
1937: The Pentangular tournament started in India
1950: The West Indies won the first test series against England
1965: ICC was renamed
1971: First One Day international played between England and Australia
1975: First Cricket World Cup organised
1977: Celebrated 100 years of Test matches
1983: India won one day international world cup for the first time
1989: ICC renamed again
2005: Shifting of ICC headquarters
2007: India won first ICC world T-20 Cup.
2011: India won one-day internationals second time.
