ANSWER:

Erase - Eraser

Rigid - Rigidity

EXPLANATION:

Abstract nouns are nouns which express an idea, concepts, strategies, qualities etc that cannot be seen or experienced. It can never be heard, viewed or touched. Abstract nouns are intangible and they cannot be experience with our five senses.

Hence, the abstract form of erase is eraser and the word rigid is rigidity. Here, the noun erase is changed into eraser by adding suffix ‘r’ and the noun rigid is changed in to rigidity by adding ‘ ity’. Truth, danger, happiness, charity, generosity are other few examples of abstract noun.
