Make two tiny holes, of the same size, at equal
heights from the bottom in a plastic bottle. Cover
them and fill the bottle with water. Let the 'covers'
be now removed. State the 'observations, and the
resulting 'conclusions', based on this activity.

Answer:

The observation and the conclusion of the given activity, are as follows -

• Observation : When we will remove those two coverings from the bottle, the water will start coming out from those two holes. And,the rate of water flow from those two holes will be equal.

• Conclusion : The pressure and height are inversely proportional in case of liquid water. Here, the two holes are situated in same height, that's why the water flow rates are equal for two holes. If the holes were made in different heights then the flow rates will become different also.
