=> Total Work done in 15 days = 15 / x

We are given that, work done by Mala in 15 days is 1 / 3

=> 15 / x = 1 / 3

=> x = 15 * 3 = 45 days

Hence Mala takes 45 days to complete the work.

Now it is given that Mala and Vino work together to complete the work in 25 days.

=> Work done by both of them on the first day is 1 / 25

We know that work done by Mala on first day is 1 / x which is 1 / 45.

So let us assume work done by Vino be 'y' days.

=> Work done in 1 day my Vino is 1 / y

=> 1 / x + 1 / y = 1 / 25

=> 1 / 45 + 1 / y = 1 / 25

=> 1 / y = 1 / 25 - 1 / 45
