See, I too used to have this problem when I was in 5th and 6th grade.

But then I easily overcame this problem by reminding this lines said by my father to me,

“ If you ask it now then you may be as a fool for only few minutes but if you don't ask it now then you will forever remain as a fool without knowing the answer for that question.”

From that moment, I never really thought twice to ask my doubt. Of course,I ask it when I'm sure enough that it is not a very silly doubt. Those others who you mentioned aren't going to offer you a job, your knowledge does. Don't mind others so seriously, just raise your hand and clear your doubt.
