Mani can complete painting the house individually in 20 days.

Murugan can complete the painting individually in 30 days.

After completing their work they had received 30000 /-

To find :

What is the share of the payment between them.

Solution :

Ratio of working of days individually = 20:30

Sum = 20+30 = 50

$\rm \: Mani's \: share = \frac{20}{50} \times 30000/-$

So Mani's share = 12000 /-

$\rm \: Murugan's \: share = \frac{30}{50} \times 30000 /-$

So Murugan's share = 18000/-
