Let the parallel sides be a and b
Perimeter = a+b + 2× ( non parallel sides)
460 m = a+b + 2 × (100)
460 = a+b + 200
a+ b = 260 m
area of trapezium
= 1/2 × perpendicular distance × (a+b)
= 1/2 × 80 × 260
= 40 × 260
:. area of trapezium = 10400 m^2
