Case-2:

C.P. = 6x/5

Profit% = 5%

Profit = (6x/5)*(5/100)

         = 6x/25

S.P. = (C.P.+Profit)

      = (6x/5) + (6x/25)

     = (30x+6x)/25 [∵ The L.C.M. is 25.]

     = 36x/25

∴ Muskan pays (36x/25) for the watch.

According to the problem:

(36x/25) = 441

⇒ x = (441*25/36)

⇒ x = 306.25 units.

∴ The C.P. of the watch was 306.25 units
