Manisha wants to make necklaces of original pearls for selling purpose. If she make each necklaces of 30 pearls, 7 pearls are left over. Else if she uses 40 pearls for each necklace, still 7 pearls are left over. How many minimum pearls does she have ?

Given

if she uses 30 pearls,7 are left

if she uses 40,still 7 left

we've to find the smallest number divisible by 40 & 30 and add 7 to it

for that

we've

30×1=30

30×2=60

30×3=90

30×4=120

30×5=150

Now 40 table

40×1=40

40×2=80

40×3=120

here we've got the number which is divisible by both 40 and 30,and that is 120

now we've to add 7 to it

120+7

=127

therefore the number of pearls she has=127

Necklace with 30 pearls,4 necklace can be made and 7 remaining

30×4+7=127

120+7=127

127=127
