Manjula think a number and subtract 7/3 from it . she multiple the result by 6. the result now obtained is 2 less than twice the same number she thought of. what is the number

=(3x-7)/3

6(3x-7)3
=2(3x-7)
=6x-14

6x-14 = 2x - 2
6x-2x = 14 - 2
4x = 12
therefore,
X = 3
hence the number is 3.
