Dear Diary

I am so happy today! I have stood first in the 'On-the-spot Painting Competition’ by Lions Club. My picture with the trophy appeared in all the local newspapers. It has filled me with new confidence. I have received so many compliments from all. My parents, grandparents, and teachers are over the moon. Achieving this success was not easy.

I am the happiest of all. This happiness of hard-earned achievement is thousand times sweeter than shallow pleasures of distractions. My parents were the happiest. I promise to myself that I will always try to be the best in all my academics and co-curricular activities. Last but not the least, I thank God for this success. That’s all dear diary. Good night.
