Here, C.P for 12 eggs= Rs.35

S.P for 10 eggs= Rs.40

S.P for 1 egg = Rs.40/10

= Rs. 4

S.P for 12 eggs= Rs.4×12

=Rs.48

Now,

Profit Amount = S.P- C.P

=Rs.(48-40)

=Rs.8

Again,

Profit percent= Profit / C.P * 100%

= 8/35*100%

= 22.85%

Therefore, the profit percent os 22.85%
