\huge{\underline{\underline{\bf{\pink{Question}}}}}

Manoj buys 10 apples for ₹8 and sells 8 apples for ₹10. Find his gain or loss percentage.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

GIVEN:-

Cost price of the 10 apples = ₹8

Selling Price of 8 apples = ₹10

TO FIND:-

Cost price of an apple = 8/10 = 0.8

Selling price of an apple = 10/8 = 1.25

SOLUTION:-

Profit = (SP ≥ CP) = SP - CP

Profit = 1.25 - 0.8 = 0.45

 LCM \: of \: 4 \: and \: 5 = 20

 \frac{25 - 16}{20}  =  \frac{9}{20}

Profit = 9/20

Profit Percent =

( \frac{Profit}{CP} \times 100)\%

(0.45 × 100)/0.8

45/0.8

45/0.8 = 56.25%

So, the Profit Percent is 56.25%.
