Dimensions of the box= 30 X 20 X 6
T.S.A. of box               =2( lb+lb+hl)
                                    = 2(30X20+20X6+6X30)
                                    =2(600+120+180)
                                    =2X900=1800 cm2
we have to add 5 % of TSA of box that would be overlap....
then TSA of box =1800+ 5/100X1800
                           =1800+90
                           =1890 cm2
so cost for one box = 1890x2/1000
                               = Rs.3.78
and cost for 500 boxes=3.78X500
                                    = Rs.1890

Answer: Rs. 1890

Step-by-step explanation:

TSA Of Cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2( 30X20 + 20X6 + 6X30)

= 2(600 + 120 + 180 )

= 2( 900 )

= 1800cm^2

But Overall TSA Needed Because of Overlaps,

1800 X 5%

= 90cm^2

Therefore, Overall TSA = 1800 + 90

= 1890cm^2

Cost per 1000cm^2 = Rs.2

Thus, Cost per 1cm^2 = Rs. 2/1000

Therefore, Cost per 1890cm^2 = Rs. 2/1000 X 1890

= Rs. 3.78

Cost per Box = Rs.3.78

Therefore, Cost per 500 Boxes = Rs.3.78 X 500

= Rs.1890

Hope it helps!
