Chemistry, asked by irwinjthekkekara, 1 day ago

Manu went to watch a movie with his parents. In the dark, he found a small beam of light within which millions of tiny particles were dancing. He thought, when there was light, no such beam appears. He was very surprise. He asked about this from his science teacher who told him that it, was due to scattering of light. why can't these particles appear in the presence of light

Tiny light particles in the air are small molecules of aerosols or dust or viruses or microbes.

An object becomes visible if the object radiates a visible light or reflects/scatters visible light from another source.

In the presence of an ambient or incoherent light, there is no reflection/scattering of visible light, and hence tiny particles cannot be seen
