Given:

The manufacturer sold 23,650 kg of sugar to shopkeeper A; 51,173 kg of sugar to shopkeeper B and 60,850 kg of sugar to shopkeeper C. How much sugar did the manufacturer sell in all?

To find:

How much sugar did the manufacturer sell in all?

Solution:

The quantity of sugar sold to shopkeeper A = 23,650 kg

The quantity of sugar sold to shopkeeper B = 51,173 kg

The quantity of sugar sold to shopkeeper C = 60,850 kg

Here we have to find the sold quantity of sugar sold by the manufacturer to A, B and C altogether, so to do that we have to add up all the given quantities of sugar.

Therefore,

The total quantity of sugar sold by the manufacturer is,

 23,650 kg

 51,173 kg

 60,850 kg

+

--------------------

1,35,673 kg

--------------------

Thus, the manufacturer sold 1,35,673 kg of sugar in all.
