I am totally against of banning. This type of sports challenges our physical as well as mental power. Stars of these sports are followed by millions of people.
They moreover contribute to our economy. These sports can also bring medals for us in Olympics. Moreover some people Have a dream of bringing gold or representing nation at international level. Banning these sports may dismiss their many opportunities.

It is true that physical sports such as boxing, kick boxing, wrestling, etc are violent. But I donot agree that they should be banned.
People practicing physical games do have high chances of getting severely injured. But most non physical games also have a high risk factor. And one thing we should keep in mind that they take place in a well-controlled environment. These games also help in improving our self defense. In an age where rape and molestation are common, social scientists are of the view that women should resort to these type of games. Sports are entirely for the purpose of entertainment. People follow what they like and might aspire to make a career out of it. And banning them would be unfair for the fans. Where children imitating violence is concerned, it is entirely upon parents to guide them about the right and wrong.
Do these violent games promote superiority of strength? Yes they do. But it is done in a controlled environment and the sportsmen strictly obey the rules. Though people might claim it as violence or cruelty, but in reality a friendly spirit is maintained. It might look like blind violence but proper strategy and planning is a key to these games.
