Many trees shed there leave in winter not cause they want too but cause the atmosphere don't allow that particular species of trees to retain moisture from the atmosphere thus the trees looses it's leaves and while some trees r still there who have bright beautiful leaves in the winter also eg cherry blossoms and while the atmosphere regain heat and moisture from the atmosphere while in spring and summer thus making a tree full of leaves again .hope it helps u
