Given :

Margie is practicing for an upcoming tennis tournament. Her first serve is good 20 out of 30 times on average. Margie wants to know the estimated probability that her first serve will be good at least four of the next six times she serves.

To Find  : How could she design a simulation for this scenario?

The scenario can be simulated by rolling a six-sided die (2, 4, 6, 10) times. The (numbers 1 to 3, numbers 1 to 4, numbers 4 to 6, numbers 2 to 4) would represent the number of Margie's good first serves. If the (numbers 0 and 1, numbers 5 and 6, numbers 4 to 6, numbers 1 to 4) appear in a set of outcomes one time each, it would mean that at least four of the next six first serves that Margie makes will be good.

Solution:

Her first serve is good 20 out of 30

=> 20/30 = 2/3

Six dice has 6 faces from 1 to 6

Hence  (2/3) * 6 = 4

4 faces should be favorable

at least four of the next six times

Hence 6 times she has to roll dice

4 faces available in case number 1 to 4   in given options  ( rest all options 3 only )

(numbers 1 to 4) appear in a set of outcomes one time each, it would mean that at least four of the next six first serves that Margie makes will be good

The scenario can be simulated by rolling a six-sided die 6 times. The  numbers 1 to 4,   would represent the number of Margie's good first serves. If the ( numbers 1 to 4) appear in a set of outcomes one time each, it would mean that at least four of the next six first serves that Margie makes will be good.
