Margie was very scornful as her mechanical teacher had been giving her test after test in Geography and she had been doing worse and worse. She had to go to the schoolroom where her mechanical teacher would be waiting for her.

In the story The Fun They Had written by Isaac Asimov, Margie is very scornful about school and her mechanical teacher because firstly her school is in one of the room at her own house. That means she can't escape school even for a day. Secondly, her mechanical teacher was giving her one after one test in geography.
