Step-by-step explanation:

Given Mark scored 20, 25, 28 ,29 ,33,38 ,42, 43 and number of students 6,20,24 ,28,15 ,4 2, and 1. a )find the probability of the students getting more than 40 marks .b)find the probability of the students getting less than 30 marks

  • Marks scored :           20 25 28 29 33 38 42 43
  • Number of students : 6  20  24 28 15 4  2   1
  • Now total number of students  = 6 + 20 + 24 + 28 + 15 + 4 + 2 + 1 = `100
  • Probability of number of students getting more than 40 marks will be           2 + 1 = 3 / 100
  • Probability of number of students getting less than 30 marks will be            28 + 24 + 20 + 6 = 78 / 100
  •                             = 39 / 50
