range =Highest term - lowest term
.: range=100 - 10 = 90
note :-in Discreate, range is calculated from Only X i.e. marks ,not frequencies i.e. no. of students.
Coffecient of range = H -L/H + L(highest-lowest/highrest+lowest)
Coff. of range = 100-10/100+10 = 90/110
ans = 0.82

shashanksurenderrawa: I got the same but in my TB the answers are being showed as range=100 and coefficient of range as 10
jashan1102: Hlo buddy,if you asked the question from book then you might know the anwser given in the book,so is it right anwser or not?.
jashan1102: may be the answer given in book is wrong.

The range is 90 and the coefficient of the range is 0.0909

Explanation:

As we know, range is calculated with the values of x from the set  Here x= marks below

∴range=maximum marks -minimum marks

∴range=100-10

∴range=90

coefficient of range is also calculated using the x observations

∴ coefficeint of range=lowest marks×highest marks/lowest marks+highest marks

∴coefficient of range=10×100/10

=1000/110

∴coefficient of range=9.0909
