Displacement reaction :- it is the chemical reaction in which more reactive element displaces less reactive element from its compound

eg. CUSO4+ Fe _ Fe So4+ Cu

Double displacement reaction :-it is a chemical reaction in which new compounds are formed by exchange of ions between the reactants.

eg. Bacl2(aq) + Na2So4 (aq) _ BaSo4 + 2Nacl(aq)
