This is the a popular topic among the teenagers. And obviously I am going 'no' for this topic as because marks can never define a persons knowledge they are just number as because people having more knowledge are not getting full marks in their exam where as moderate people are getting full marks.
The reason behind that is that the people who learn to clam their nerves in the final exam will score good marks.
Luck can also be a factor as if a moderate student can get common question and score more where as the topper is having a in depth knowledge about that subject.
So marks never reflect a students knowledge.

The marks the student got in their academic exams do not reflect the potential of a student. According to me grades are just about how much the student could memorise from the syllabus on a certain criteria.An intelligent student may not be able to score well as their answers may not match the required quality though they understood the syllabus but could not memorise it thoroughly. Several students these days are smart and intelligent but get poor grades in their examination.
Some students may be good in art but weak in math.This surely does not mean that the student is not smart enough.Judging on the basis of grades would be unfair in my opinion.i would also like to prove the statement “ Marks scored by a student in their exams reflect their knowledge”
by a historical real life example which is that great genius’s who performed poorly in school but were great minds whose inventions and great thinking changed human development.Some of these geniuses was Thomas Edison ,Albert Einstein and Issac Newton.
